Pinal County Superior Court Judge Stephen McCarville set an August 30, 2018 2:00 p.m. deadline for Johnson Utilities to provide EPCOR with full and exclusive access to and control over all revenues paid by customers & associated list of financial institutions as well as exclusive access to facilities, records, accounts, and materials owned by Johnson Utilities. Failure to comply could have resulted in jail time.

Before the 2:00 p.m. deadline, the Arizona Corporation Commission reported that Johnson Utilities had complied and granted Epcor access to the bank accounts, billing, accounts payable, and other financial systems. Transfer of operational control of water and wastewater systems begins tomorrow, August 31, 2018. As a result, Epcor has now been reinstated as interim manager per the Commission's July 24, 2018 order.
